Nope. Canada Post rates are probably one of the worst. Here's a general summary of their rates per weight as of 2011:

0-100g: Canada = 2$ / USA = 3$ / World = 6$
100-250g: Canada = 4$ / USA = 6$ / World = 9$
250-500g: Canada = 10$ / USA = 10$ / World = 18$
500g-1kg: Canada = 14$ / USA = 16$ / World = 36$
1kg-2kg: Canada = 16$ / USA = 24$ / World = 50$

1x CDR = 50g / 1xCD = 75g / 2xCD = 120g
1x LP = 400g / 2xLP = 700g / 3xLP = 1.2kg / 4xLP = 1.7kg
